Unleash entertainment in your lounge room like never before. Not only will this transform your television viewing experience, it will change how you watch television forever.
In a time when there are smart TV’s and internet streaming, the addition of a box to the TV is normally limited to either a pay TV provider or games console. Now one of them I can fully understand, and it’s not the pay TV provider. But apart from those, is there really a need for any other type of box? There sure is. The Android TV box will allow you to stream from providers such as Netflix, as well as view local network content. But it’s what’s built into this Android TV box that changes everything.
The MXQ Android Box is quad core, providing enough processing power to play your content smoothly without crashing at every corner. It operates on Android 4.4, an older but more stable operating system. You can download apps from Google Play and stream your favourite content directly to your big screen TV, in HD.
Why spend hundreds of dollars every single month to enjoy premium television that is surprisingly full of ads? To be honest, now is the time to throw out your cable or satellite receiver. Why? You now have choices like never before.
We have recently become inundated with viewing choices that our parents could only have ever dreamt about. Netflix, Stan and even Hulu Plus and HBO Go through DNS services has changed the playing field like never before. No longer do we have to sit down when the program producer at the television station decides to when we can watch our favourite show or the latest movie. A slowly improving internet combined with streaming services has opened a Pandoras Box of what is possible when it comes to the best entertainment. But it’s still fairly limited, unless you have our Android TV Box with Kodi Fully Loaded.
What is Kodi?
Imagine a place like your old fashioned video rental store, but where everything that you could ever imagine is right at your fingertips. It has live TV, including sports, movies, kids shows, and, well we’ll leave it to your imagination. In short. It’s a fully loaded entertainment system. Watch the video below and get blown away.
Play Store won’t load: This is an annoying little bug that’s pretty easy to solve. You might find that you need to go to the Play Store to either update an app or download a new one, but the darn thing won’t load at all. This is a Google Android problem, and easily solved. To solve go to My Apps >> Settings >> Other >> more settings >> Apps. Press the right arrow until all aps are shown and then select Google Play Store. Select or click on “clear data” and “clear cache.” A warning box will show and click “OK”. Go to Googe Play and it will load. Happy days!
Apps won’t update, or they take a long time: First of all make sure that you have a good internet connection, and you are actually getting the service that you are paying for from your ISP. Where I live the net is near impossible to use between 7:30pm and 10:00pm, thank you Netflix users. If the internet connection is working well stop the updates and update one app at a time. Sometimes it’s all a little too much for Google Play to handle all of them at once. It might take a while, but it will get them all updated.
Some Kodi channels won’t load: Yeah, this is a bit annoying, especially when it comes to the good ones. But once again this isn’t a problem with the box. While Kodi displays all these thousands of channels in the list, not all of them work. After looking at countless forums, videos and blogs online the general consensus is to try the ones you are interested in and see if they load. Not all of them will, but you will get hundreds to work, which is still pretty good.
Kodi video quality is poor: Once again, a bit annoying. But you know what? It’s free, you aren’t paying for the Kodi service, so it’s still a bargain. Some channels will play as clearly as Netflix, some like they were made in the period of dial up. All you have to do is try them and see what works best for you.
Updating to Android Lolipop: The box comes stock standard with Android 4.4.2 KitKat. A newer version might be released for the box, but we can not guarantee it. You may be able to update manually, but we DO NOT recommend this are not responsible if you turn the box into an expensive paper weight. Our recommendation is to only update if you are requested by the Android box.
